Back in the heady dotcom days, we took a job for equity,. Many of us did back then, it was the fools gold of the day.
Zipcar was in its pre-IPO or Angel days. For them, we developed the cellular communication betwen the car's IOT hardware and their servers to provide access to the vehicle for their customers. We did this before people called it "the Internet of Things"., ceullur data was very new, analog and slow.
Imachines was always there building internet/mobile software for devices that everyone does today. We figure things out and often completed first-of-their kind products.. We have experience on many different devices at many levels with and without an OS including embeded PCs and Linux. We don't just develop the software, or firmware if your prefer, but will take projects soup-to-nuts. We will take your whole project including getting the eletronics designed/built as well as any required mechanials and sprinkle in software as needed.
Examples that come to mind:
- CANBus devices and more buses including Ethernet, USB, Modbus, RS232/485, ++.
- Outdoor advertsing hardware for mobile and static signage and more than just the software, but electronics mechanical, IOT and web services backends including advertising on taxis (OOH)
- Talking to computers or networks of devices over many protocols UDP, FTP, HTTPS, etc..
- Engineer focused APIs for cameras, motion control cards, and more.
- Device drivers including NDIS networking layers for Windows.
- Web-based semicondoctor test system software "compiler". A web-site to compile, load, test and control Teradyne-compatible networed testers in the mid-90s.
- Software/hardware/mechanical development as well for the automative and marine environments.
- P-invoking and develoment .NET compatible software for devices like Raspberry Pi, Beagle Bone, +.
- C, C++, Python devices of many devices Internel-ready and standaone.
From user interfaces down to bare metal, we can make your ideas functional, real and online.
